Autumn H&M haul

hm figure fit jacket
hm cable knit jumper

This is my first proper fashion post, and I though what better way to incorporate fashion in my little blog than an autumn fashion haul! H&M is definitely my favourite highstreet brand, as they bring out affordable, yet trendy pieces. I decied to browse through H&M today and definitely didn't walk out empty-handed. I felt so good walking out with two large bags, and I must say I'm not even sorry! Let me talk you through the contents of my shopping bags today.

Figure-fit jacket: I got it in a size 34, it's the smallest one they have. If you're petite like me, you should give this a go, it will probably fit you just right. I got mine in black, but they also have it in ink blue, beige and grey, which for me is quite a good range of colors. It's supposed to be in the office-wear section, but it could be worn as a more casual jacket with jeans and booties this autumn.

Cable-knit jumper: (purple and black): Cable-knit jumpers are a must-have for me this autumn. I could honestly buy one in every single autumnish colour, but I decided to restrain myself a little bit and only got the purple and balck ones. The purple jumper is quite the slouchy, comfy jumper, perfect for cold autumn mornings. The fit is quite relaxed, but nothing too baggy or overly slouchy. H&M's jumpers are always spot on in my opinion, especially for petite girls (most brands do them way too long, and yeah, I'm looking at you Zara). The black one is more figure-fit and the little see-through detailing on the top is really feminine. Unfortunately I got the black one on sale and can't find the link to it on the website.

Necklace: Unfortunately, the same thing goes for the necklace, I couldn't find it on the website. I'm a sucker for dainty jewelry and I'll definitely enjoy wearing this with shirts or maybe even the purple jumper.

What did you get form H&M this autumn?

Street style: Get the Miranda Kerr look

miranda kerr street style
So, we all amire Miranda Kerr's style. She's always sophisticated, even in her everyday life she looks effortlessly beautiful and stylish. Of course, her iconic pencil skirts and dresses are what she's most famous for, but that's not what makes her a style-role model. Every single outfit of hers is divine, seriously, I would die to be able to copy at least one of her outfits. But unfortunately, I don't have the money for a Prada bag.

And as I've stumbled upon so many Miranda pins on Pinterest, I've decided to show you guys some items on the more affordable end that are really similar to what she wears. I really hope you find this as exciting as I do, as Miranda Kerr is one of my idols, I've seen every single one of ther interview, I adore her Aussie accent, and most of all, her one-of-a-kind style. Here we go!

Pencil skirt - H&M/ Sequin Silver Dress - yoox.xom/ Timeless Nile Over Knee Boot - ASOS / Polka Dot Chiffon shirt - Mango/ Sheer Chiffon Blouse - H&M/ Soft Bowling Bag - Zara/ High-waisted Pensil Skirt - Oasis/

Combining a few of these items will surely help you get that look you admire - effortless, classy, chic. Hope you enjoyed! Do you love Miranda Kerr as much as I do?

High-tech fashion #5: Earmuff headphones

Oh, the things people come up with these days! I haven't done a hig-tech fashion post in a while, so here's one for you guys! You may have seen my "Headband headphones" post, and the lovely Kristina Wright left me a link in her comment for earmuff headphones! What might this be, you ask? Well, there they are!

They look so comfy! As it's almost winter time, earmuffs are a must-have. And the people ar PowerMuff have created these awesome ear muff headphones. It's such an interesting invention - bluetooth headphones, that come in the form of earmuffs! What's not to like? The product description promises high sound quality, and if they live up to that promise, this is the greatest girly gadget ever!
They come in all shapes - as you can see in the picture, furry ones, and not so furry ones. They also have leopard prints and black, red and greay plain ones! I've linked you to their site above - they come for the reasonable price of 15$, which for headphones, I must say is pretty much nothing.

Hope you enjoyed the earmuff post! Have you found any weird fashiony gadgets? Feel free to share them in the comments!

Coats and Biker Jackets

So, I recently did a "Fall classics" post, and now I've decided that it's just not enough, as fall is my favourite season, and fall trends this eyar are just amazing. They give you so much freedom to experiment with patterns, colors, and shapes. I've selected for you some gordeous coats and biker jackets I've stumbled upon this fall. Here we go!

1. Coats: All the coats are from Zara, I just couldn't help myself because this season they have such a nice collection of coats and blazers. Wool coats, parkas, anoraks, fluff jackets, trenchcoats... It was so hard to chose just three. I've always worn short coats (because I'm too shor for long ones), but all my picks are long ones, I'm just so fascinated with them!

2. Biker Jackets: Biker jackets are my one true love in autumn time. Even faux leather ones. Mainly because there are so many variations. Cropped ones, ones with detatchable sleevs, zippers on the side etc. If you are a rock chick or if you just like the biker jacket look - you are gonna love these!

The Cat Trend. Meow!

So, as I was going through H&M's website, I came across an awesome cat sweatshirt. So, I thought to myself "Is this a thing?". Well, for catlovers it's a thing anyway, but apparently it has been a trend recently as I've discovered loads and loads of cat-related stuff ever since. I wasn't much of a catlover before, but my boyfriend has made me into somewhat of a cat-ish person - I'm buying cat sweatshirts, dear god! Anyway, I'm rambling like way too much, so, here's my collection of Cats!

Here I have an awesome collection of kitty sweatshirts, t-shirts etc. And also, some weird stuff I discovered, like a "Cats in space" collection which is as awesome as it is weird! Let's get started!

  1. The first awesome cat items are the ModCloth striped flats. Firts, they are unbelievably cute, and second they look so comfy, that I want to put them on right now. I love the design, it's unique, and I guarantee you won't be seeing anyone with flats like yours.
  2. The second thing is a baggy sweatshirt from H&M with a huuuge cat print. It needs no explanation.
  3. I'll combine the "Cats in space" things in one. They are from a Cropp Town collection, and I must admit those are the weirdest, most extraordinary prins ever. They have a whole range of space stuff, T-shirts, scarves, purses, bags etc. I'm linkng you to their facebook page, because I coulnd't find it on their website.
  4. Another pair of cat flats. These are a bit on the expensive side, but as they are  creaticely designed, I couldn't help but put them in here. They have little cat ears, aww.
  5. And for the last pick - you might be wondering why I chose cateye sunglasses. Well, because the cat trend is so wide in its variety. Those glasses are from Stella McCartney, and for me, they are the most distinguished and loved item of the bunch.
So, I hope there are some crazy cat ladies among you, girls, who will enjoy this post! Are you fans of the cat trend, and would you buy any of these items?

The Great Gatsby looks - in love with the past

It was only yesterday that I saw, The Great Gatsby. I know, I'm a little late, haha. But that is not important - the important thing is the ideas and the style-inspiration the film brings about.

The sequinted flapper dresses describe the 1920s fashionwise. When you move, the dress moves with you, and since they did a lot of dancing, it was a really spectacular thing to see. This all screams "Glamour!", and that's what the era is all about. Glamour. Sparkling headbands, sparkling dresses and shoes, luxe, and the desire to have it all.
The dresses I've chosen, are in my opinion, the contemporary version of Dasy Buchanan's warderobe. The film has inspired so many young women to bring back the freedom, glamour and the entire spirit of the era just by putting on a dress. So here are my choises.
1. A flapper dress with a dropped waist. In a way, it expresses the femininity - the colours and the silhouette are both very girly, and not too bold.
2. Nude sequin embellished dress from Dorothy Perkins. This one is a little more extravagant and sparkly, but still feminine enough.
3. And the boldest of them all - the ultimate flapper dress - ever so glamorous, sparkling, with the typical 1920s flapper style patters - the Jigsaw Sequin Flapper Dress.

I hope this Great Gatsby trend inspired you to experiment, and buy some 1920's-like items! What do you think of the trend?

High-tech fashion? #4: Neon-glow leggings

This fashion finding is not as high-tech as the other ones I've presented to you guys, but still, I think it's worth the attention we're about to give it!

Nice leggings, huh? Great, extra-creative and eye-cathing bone print. But it's not just that. Wait 'till you see them under a black light!

Boom. Bright neon-colored bones we got there! So, these leggings by BlackMilk incorporate a special neon-ink technology that allows you to basically glow in the dark! How cool is that? They come in yellow, orange and pink, so you can glow in any color, haha. "We love this print so much we made it yellow and printed it using a neon ink that goes absolutely ballistic under a black light. We felt it was a logical step.", say the creators ar BlackMilk. They are apparently made of some extremely stretchy polyester that fits yor body perfectly, which would encourage you to stay fit if you buy these, so here's to another pro of the glowing leggings. Unfortunately, they seem to be out of stock at the moment, but I'd wait for them to com back!
Like every other high-techy fashion find, it might not be everybody's cup of tea. However, how cool would this look on the dancefloor! Hope you like it, guys! xx

High-tech fashion? #2: Audio Clutch

Recently, I stumbled upon a high-tech fashion article that truly amazed me and decided to make a series on my blog. Like seriously, the things people come up with these days! I'd like to share it with you guys, and see what you think: ridiculous, or fashionable and witty?

Now, you'd think that this is just a regular clutch, right? Studded, designer-made (by Rebecca Minkoff, who is very successful, and aspiring by the way). Well, that's where you're wrong. It's an audioclutch.

You open it up and two loud speakers pop out. "The Audio Clutch is designed to bridge the gap between the fantasy of fashion and the functionality of technology." as Stelle Audio Couture describe it. But really, is that functional enough? For the price of $399, I really can't decide. You get a stylish clutch (but seriously, where do you put your things in that?) and great speakers. And, you can answer your calls if you connect it to your mobile phone vie bluetooth. It is definitely an innovative accessory, but I don't think it's everyone's cup of tea.
In conclusion, if I had the money, I'd definitely purchase one of these beauties, but mainly because of their style, and not their functionality. What do you think and would you buy one for yourself? xx

Celebs in Nautical: Taylor Swift

So, I decided to do the FBLbloggers theme challenge: Nauticals. I did a little research and turns out thet the biggest celeb nautical-fan is Taylor Swift. So I have chosen a few of her nautical outfits and I'm going to show you how to copy them! Let's go!

For our first look, I have chosen these items:
1. An Ipanema nautical striped dress, which it out of stock unfortunately.
2. s. Oliver shoulder bag, red with blue stripes.
3. Kimchi Blue Peep-Toe D'Orsay Heel from Urban Outfitters
This is a very girly, casual summery look, and of course there can be a few more combinations created with accessories, such as an anchor bracelet or earrings. It's a great look for the seaside, or if you just want to give off that nautical vibe!

For our look two, here are "The Chosen Ones":
1. Face it, when we say nautical, we mean blue and white stripes. What's better than a nautical T-shirt from John Lewis
2. Combining nauticals with reds seems to be the trend at the moment. So, red high-waisted shorts from Forever 21
3. A great addition to a nautical look is the anchor bracelet. It's a red and blue one from trashness.

So these are the recreations of Taylor Swift's nautical-obsessed looks, haha. Hope you like them! xx
